Durga & Avinash Visit Mumbai Friday, 21st December 2001

The long awaited, twice postponed trip of Durgaprasad, closest friend of Kiran, the elder Kumar, from college days, to Mumbai finally happened on the 21st of Dec, 2001. Avinash,Kiran's roommate of college days, also working in Pune was good enough to accompany him. The weekend they were here was spent in going around Mumbai, and some shopping to commemorate Durga's first visit to the the city of Dreams.Another friend of the trio, Vijayeendra also accompanied the three friends on the last day of their tour of the city. Hope they enjoyed their stay.

Jayashree, cousin to the Kumars, visited Mumbai on Friday, the 14th of Dec., with her husband and child, Kavya. They were here in Mumbai for some official work of her husband. The weekend, they went thru the city along with Arun, the second Kumar and their father, Mr. G. S. Satyanarayana, in a vehicle arranged by Jayee's husband. They too did some shopping and hopefully enjoyed their stay. They left in a hurry as, apparently, they had left urgent business behind in Bangalore. Do visit again, next, in liesure. (Jayee, listening somewhere ?!)

Culinary Exploits of the elder Kumars when they were "Home Alone" November 13th onwards..

The elder Kumars, Kiran and Arun were left home alone for 15 days and they had the time of their life. Apron at the waist, cooking batter on their faces, the things they cooked, and "ATE" and the time they had opened new vistas for the cook in them !! The Kitchen was a sight to see. The Mother of the Kumars properly admonished them on return and realised how useless her elder sons were in that respect !!
